Pietro’s posting said what I’ve been thinking, that four boys were murdered, not three of one religion and one of another. I heard this morning about a group of Israeli women who went to the home of the murdered Palestinian boy, to express their condolences and offer a small gift of dates and coffee to the family. Even though some of the family did not want to welcome the women, the boy’s mother expressed that she was thankful they had come. It is heartening to see what healing can come when people treat one another as they would like to be treated.
Hugs.

Hermosas palabras y conceptos. No amarilla, cobriza, etc.  ¡Cuánto cuesta!  ¡Cuánto me cuesta!!!!!

IT’S POSSIBLE, IT’S DOABLE
The Tariq Khamisa Foundation Story
 DeAnna LoCoco ©14 July 2011

Violence breeds hurt as it ripples out
Revenge and rage rise with every shout
The grip is reactive; it cries out, “How dare you?”
Compassionate confrontation and forgiveness present a potential new view
The TKF story continues to be told
Victory is possible but still some cannot behold
Forgiveness is the operative and so full of power
Lifting of the inner burden can shift any hour
It takes great bravery to be so very bold
As victim receives his assailant with a loving hold
In the bleak prison setting, Azim and Tony sit down
To something so rare, so very profound
Pensive moments quickly reach elevated height
Eyeball to eyeball magnetizing everything to the Light
In one beautiful moment a great change takes place
Each one gently and lovingly forgiven by Grace

We are simply unwilling to lose one more child
Taking every opportunity to contain the wild
And so the story unfolds in these days of release
Turning each child from pain to peace
Imagine peace, let down your guard
Let the image grow, it’s not that hard
It may be surprising, it may seem absurd
Life and Love just simply want to be heard
Be still in the quietude, be gentle, be kind
To assure the heart and enfold the mind
We are all born so sweet and peaceful
Circumstances roll in to teach behaviors deceitful
The task now is restoration of ourselves and community
Shifting from punishment and incarceration to healing and unity
Laying down arms and weapons of destruction
Linking arms of flesh for brand new construction

It’s possible, it’s doable, it’s already been done
Perpetuate this in your thoughts instead of a gun
Working together as we all restore
Setting patterns of love and respect like never before
Chain reaction occurs when we each mend and heal
Invisibly, automatically touching all in our field
To breathe is to inspire which makes way for, “Aha!”
A brilliant fresh reality: “Of course, Voila!”
We can do it, we really know how
Just a little trim tab to anchor the new vow
It’s easy and effortless to stop spinning around
To breathe and Be, no longer bound
From violence to victory of restoring souls lost
Healing broken hearts from very high cost
It’s possible, it’s doable, it’s already been done
With forgiveness in an instant, liberation is won!
